For nearly four years, we worked hard to keep our salon service prices steady, even as the cost of professional products, color, supplies, education, insurance, and nearly every other part of operating our business continued to rise.
We made that choice because we understand that our guests are experiencing many of the same rising costs. However, holding our pricing unchanged for so long ultimately became unsustainable. Earlier this year, we implemented the first part of a carefully considered adjustment. Beginning September 1st, we will complete the second part with a small increase to select salon services.
This was not a decision we made lightly. Our pricing must allow us to maintain the quality, care, and professional products our guests expect while also providing fair, sustainable compensation for the talented professionals who serve them.
