Parking at Park Place

Park Place offers above-ground parking as well as a city-owned parking garage located beneath the building at 1 Park Place. Garage entrances are located near the Westin Hotel, the Park Place condominiums, and behind the building.

The Park Place garage uses a gateless entry and exit system, which means you can enter and exit without pulling a ticket, swiping a credit card, or waiting for a gate to lift. We recommend downloading the Metropolis App before your visit and completing your vehicle and payment information in advance. Simply downloading the app is not enough; your account must be fully set up for the system to automatically recognize your vehicle. A credit card is required to park in all Annapolis city garages.

How It Works

When you arrive, simply drive into the garage and park. License Plate Reader (LPR) technology will capture your vehicle’s license plate and begin your parking session. If you have already set up the Metropolis App with your vehicle and payment information, your parking session should process automatically. If you do not have the app, you can scan the QR code displayed on signs throughout the garage, or inside Varuna for your convenience, and follow the prompts to enter your phone number, license plate number, and payment information.

Once your parking session is activated, you can walk away and enjoy your appointment. When you leave the garage, your payment will automatically be calculated based on the amount of time parked.

Please note that parking at this location is managed and enforced by the City of Annapolis. Vehicles that fail to pay within 24 hours of their visit may be subject to citation.
